NW2C PROGRAMS
Every NW2C student will select up to three (3) programs for each school year. Students will meet with their college advisor to assess which programming they are interested in through an appointment.

Access to college guidance content in our NW2C app, group workshops and one-on-one sessions. Topics include but are not limited to: making college selections, exploring major and career options, introduction to various college applications, college application writing, financial aid, college network and others.

A program providing cultural guidance which teaches the student's self-determination of their identity. The student will also have an opportunity to attend in an annual Indigenous Youth Summit. More information TBA.

Introduces youth to traditional Fernandeño Tataviam villages and cultural sites such as Passenga (San Fernando) and Tochonanga (Newhall). Students travel across traditional Tataviam lands and make contemporary connections to historical sites.

Explore the many aspects of traditional tobacco such as medicinal properties, ceremonial uses, and more. Program will include trips at the Vasquez Rocks and the NHMLA La Brea Tar Pits.
