Anawakalmekak and Native Ways 2 College would like to invite students, families, educators, and advocates to join us for the first ever INDIGENOUS PEOPLES COLLEGE FAIR on Saturday, November 15th from 9am to 12pm at Chief Ya'anna Regenerative Learning Village. This is not going to be your typical college fair; this gathering will offer a special opportunity to evaluate colleges through the lens of Indigenous students who attend the colleges being represented!

GET A FIRSTHAND LOOK INTO THE INDIGENOUS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE FROM THE SOURCE!

Current high school students have an opportunity to gain insight on how indigenous students navigate through their university experiences. 

MEET AND NETWORK WITH CURRENT INDIGENOUS UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND ALUMNI!

The Indigenous Peoples College Fair is the perfect opportunity to connect with current students and alumni that are involved with Indigenous university clubs and organizations. 

GET PERSONAL INSIGHT ABOUT CAMPUS INDIGENOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND THEIR RESOURCES

Explore how different colleges & universities center indigenous knowledge, traditions, and resources at their institutions.

EXPLORE AND DISCUSS ABOUT BALANCING BETWEEN CULTURAL AND SECULAR IDENTITIES AS A COLLEGE STUDENT / FAMILY

College can be an overwhelming experience - especially as an indigenous student! Learn about how students balance school, family, and their cultural obligations.

MAIN COLLEGE FAIR

Meet representatives, community partners, and tribal leaders from universities and career centers! This is an amazing opportunity to get information from culturally-connected resources about the college experience.
