About the event

At the 18th Many Winters Gathering of Elders (MWGOE), NW2C youth and families will have an opportunity to sit at the Arbor and learn from Native and Indigenous elder's teachings and stories to the community.

"To ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone attending ceremony, we [MWGOE] ask that everyone attending observe the guidelines listed. In general, please be respectful to all. Please be advise that MWGOE observes ceremonial protocols."

Read more about the specific ceremonial protocol below from last year's brochure. We will update the document when this year's brochure becomes available. This document below will give you a good understanding of the protocol.
